MEET THE AUTHOR & DESIGNER:

Janey Loree Fisher Paschal

Born November 25, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas.

(4mi from the Alamo)

Janey Loree Fisher Paschal was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 25, 1960. Being a 6th generation Texan, Janey loves Texas history and family history. As a Texas rancher’s wife, Janey enjoys life West of the Pecos and her duties as Secretary and Curator of the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame in Pecos, Texas. As Historian of the Halley Bryan Perry Chapter of the Daughter of the Republic of Texas, she delves into both Texas and family history. Along with her mother, Phyllis Mae Richardson Fisher, Janey owns an online shoppe, PJ’s Corner Gift Shoppe, “where paper comes to life” and they have written the first of a series of “generational” books. Twiglet: The Little Christmas Tree is set in the 1800’s and while not based on fact, several family parallels do exist. “Children of the Desert” will chronicle the childhood of Phyllis Mae; the travelings of Janey Loree will be regaled in the third book in the series. Training mustangs by Janey’s sons will be the subject of the fourth book and the fifth book will be a handwritten account of ranch life West of the Pecos.
